LINER PAPERS
Liner papers are used on the walls of corrugated cardboard. Their main characteristics are: smoothness, burst resistance and finish.
-
RAW KRAFT LINER
A raw kraftliner is a paper made primarily from virgin fiber. Mullen and SCT-DT are considered the two most important strength properties of kraftliner, these two are indicators of the strength development of a box, flexibility during processing and use of the corrugated board.
-
WHITE KRAFT LINER (TOP)
A white kraftliner is a paper made primarily from virgin fiber. Whiteness is measured according to the conditions defined in ISO 2470-1. Burst and SCT-DT are considered the two most important strength properties of kraftliner, these two are indicators of the strength development of a box, flexibility during processing and use of the corrugated board. A white kraftliner (top) will look for certain criteria of whiteness, roughness and gluing. In relation to COBB, the white kraftliner top should be glued.
-
WHITE COATED KRAFT LINER
A white coated kraftliner is a paper made primarily from virgin fiber. A coated kraftliner is a white kraftliner coated with a layer containing color pigments. Burst and SCT-DT are considered two of the most important strength properties of kraftliner, they are a good indicator of the strength of a box, flexibility during processing and use of the corrugated board.
-
RAW TEST LINER
A raw testliner is a paper made primarily from recycled fiber. Burst and SCT-DT are considered two of the most important strength properties, they are a good indicator of a box's strength, flexibility during processing and use of the corrugated board sheet.
-
RAW KRAFT TOP LINER
A raw kraft top liner is a paper made from recycled fiber but with the top layer composed predominantly of virgin fiber.
-
WHITE TEST LINER
An uncoated white testliner is a paper made primarily from recycled fiber, in which the top side is characterized by a white fiber cover on a recycled base.
