PAPELES MEDIUM
Medium papers are used in flutes or corrugated cardboard, contributing to the stowage resistance of a cardboard package. Its main characteristics are: compression resistance, porosity that helps adhesion to the liner paper and rough finish.

SEMI-CHEMICAL MEDIUM
A semi-chemical fluting is a paper made mainly from virgin semi-chemical fibre. A semi-chemical generally has a content of more than 80% virgin semi-chemical fibre. CMT and also CCT or SCT DT are used to express the stiffness under compressive stress. The correlation between CCT and SCT DT is different for semi-chemical fibres than for other types of fibres.

RECYCLED MEDIUM
A recycled fluting is a paper made mainly from recycled fibre. The grammage of the recycled fluting is equal to or greater than 100 g/m2. If one of the limits of the CMT 30 or SCT-DT index is exceeded by a medium, this paper is automatically classified as the next higher quality medium.
